Accounts Payable/Account Receivable Specialist
HO Sports Company, a wholesaler/distributor of HO and Hyperlite towable water sports equipment, has an opening in our accounting department for an AR/AP Clerk.   Must have strong computer skills including Microsoft Excel.  This position requires problem solving skills, strong organizational skills, multi-tasking and attention to detail.  Must have professional attitude, able to take direction, be a quick learner and be self-motivated.  A team player is a must.
 
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
 
Matching of invoices and coding to ledger accounts
Data entry including AP and PO vouchers
Reconcile an enter salesman expenses
Research and reconcile any discrepancies
Run weekly check runs
Maintain vendor files to adhere to xxxx reporting
Preparing wires to international vendors and sending payment details
Daily Bank Reconciliation
Updating management reports
 
Review vendor statements and handle collection calls
Process credit applications, check credit references, pull credit reports
Process credit card payments
Organizing, entering and filing deposit receipts
Preparing and mailing invoices to customers
EDI processing
Researching and entering customer credit and debit memos
