Human Resource Generalist
Motion Water Sports Inc, a distributor of O?Brien and Liquid Force water sports products, is currently searching for a Human Resource Generalist.   We have recently completed a new 135,000 square foot warehouse and office facility at the Snoqualmie Ridge Business Park that employs over 75 people.
The Human Resource Generalist?s duties, responsibilities and skills include but not limited to:
·         Works closely with the Corporate Human Resource Manager.
·         Outstanding customer service skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor.  Ability to work as part of a team.
·         Answers routine personnel inquiries as well as basic policy and procedure questions.
·         Maintains and/or creates records and documents for personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers and terminations.  Maintains and updates employee manual.
·         Works with managers to address issues related to employees.
·         Recruits candidates for open positions, assess candidates and make recommendations to managers.
·         Manages Employment Security Claims and L&I Claims
·         Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.   Reliable attendance and supervisory experience.
Payroll duties, responsibilities and skills include but not limited to:
·         Bi-Weekly Multi-State Payroll for two companies including commissions.  All payroll maintenance.
·         Provide all necessary reporting of New Hires and Terminations to Corporate HR Manager
·         Must have ADP PayExpert and/or ADP Workforce Now experience. 
·         File Quarterly L&I tax returns.
·         Create reports for Owners and Corporate Managers.
·         Annual workers comp audit, 401K audit and year end schedules and reconciliations as requested.
Minimum qualifications for this position may be satisfied by a combination of education and experience.  Preferred Qualifications:
·         A minimum of three years of HR or benefits administration experience.  ADP payroll processing a MUST.  Strong organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.  Ability to handle, organize and prioritize multiple requests within tight deadlines.  BA degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field preferred, some accounting background a PLUS.
